About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality child protection services, working closely with families, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions to complex social care challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver child protection services in accordance with statutory responsibilities and relevant legislation
  • Conduct assessments of children's needs, promoting and safeguarding their welfare
  • Provide support, information, and advice to families to help them become more self-reliant
  • Prepare reports for courts and various meetings, presenting to a variety of professionals
  • Maintain essential records and input data into the core computer system
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in Children's Services
  • Experience of delivering complex court proceedings in various court settings
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a generous relocation package, flexible working arrangements, and access to training and development opportunities.
