About the Job: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Residential School in Ferndown, Dorset. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher, GCSEs at grade C (or 4) or above in English and Maths, and experience working with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD pupils.

Job Description: As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum under the guidance of a teacher. Your primary responsibilities will include safeguarding the welfare and safety of pupils, providing additional explanation and support to children where needed, and assisting teachers in gathering and recording evidence of pupils' attainment and progress.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures, as well as experience managing a range of behaviors, including those that challenge. Experience within an educational setting is advantageous, but not essential.
