Ophthalmic Operating Department Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to join our team at Greenstaff Medical. As a key member of our ophthalmic theatre team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annumAs an Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse, your expertise in medication administration and patient care will be essential in delivering exceptional healthcare services to those in need. With your skills and experience, you will contribute to the smooth running of our ophthalmic theatres, working closely with our surgical teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to strict infection control guidelines
- Assist surgeons during eye surgeries, maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment
- Administer medications as required, monitoring patient responses and reporting any concerns to medical staff
- Valid NMC Pin and completed preceptorship for newly qualified nurses
- 6 months of proven experience as a Scrub Nurse in Ophthalmic Theatres
- Valid right to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided)
- Proof of vaccinations/immunity
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service
- Proof of Mandatory training aligned to the Skills for Health UK CSTF standards
