Job Overview:

Optical Express, a leading provider of laser eye and premium intraocular lens surgery, is seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team in Bristol.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Theatre Practitioner to provide expert support in laser vision correction, intraocular lens (cataract) surgery, and anaesthetic assistance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in theatre or scrub roles and be registered with the NMC or HCPC.

Responsibilities:

  • Laser Vision Correction - Scrub
  • Intraocular Lens (Cataract) - Scrub
  • Anaesthetic assistant
  • Pre-operative assessments
  • Undertake pre-screening diagnostic duties
  • Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications
  • Medicines management
