Paediatric Theatre Job Opportunity

The University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join its Children's Theatres Department. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work in a state-of-the-art theatre environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role: As a Theatre Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a paediatric theatre setting. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including anaesthetists, surgeons, and nurses, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrate competence in clinical skills relevant to the theatre environment, including anaesthesia and surgical procedures
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safe and effective delivery of medical treatments and procedures
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and contribute to a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered RSCN/RN Child Branch (NMC registered) or equivalent, with current NMC registration
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience as a Theatre Practitioner in a paediatric theatre setting, with a strong understanding of anaesthetics and surgical procedures
