About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Theatre Practitioner to join our dynamic surgical team at a leading private ophthalmic clinic specializing in laser eye surgery and cataract procedures.
As an Operating Department Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal visual outcomes for our patients. The successful candidate will have experience working within theatre settings and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
The role will involve assisting surgeons during operations, preparing operating rooms, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure smooth-running operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laser Vision Correction - Scrub
- Anaesthetic Assistance
- Pre-operative Assessments
- Discharge Patients with After-care Advice and Medications
Requirements:
- NMC or HCPC registration
- Previous Theatre or Scrub experience
