We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Department Practitioner to join our Children's Theatres Department at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced theatre practitioners with anaesthetics qualification to work in a dynamic team.

About the Job

As a theatre practitioner, you will be working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including neurosurgery, scoliosis, cardiac, interventional radiology, oncology, general, urology, ear, nose and throat, orthopaedics, renal, plastics, burns, dental, maxillofacial, laparoscopic and endoscopy.

The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment, as well as excellent communication skills. You should be able to demonstrate competence in clinical skills relevant to the clinical area and take the lead in ensuring appropriate action in response to the deteriorating patient. Additionally, you will need to be self-motivated, a team player, and able to work with minimum supervision.

We offer a competitive salary range of £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, pro rata. Our Trust is committed to providing a positive work-life balance, and we encourage applicants to discuss flexible working arrangements during the application process.
