Education Specialist for Challenging Behaviour

At Sherbourne, we are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South Birmingham. This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year 2025, offering a competitive salary and ongoing support from our dedicated Education Consultant.
About the Role:This challenging yet rewarding role involves working with children who require additional support to succeed in mainstream education. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive environment that promotes student progress and addresses their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK
- Have extensive knowledge of the KS1/2 curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Show flexibility around the school's working routine
- Utilise resources effectively to promote student progress
We offer a competitive rate of pay £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus the opportunity to work with a dedicated Education Consultant who can provide ongoing support.
