Behavioural Support Worker - Academics Ltd
We are recruiting for a Behavioural Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd, a successful educational provider based in Central Bristol. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with challenging behaviour and social, emotional mental health needs.
You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support these children. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualised support to children with SEND, including those with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, and other conditions.
- Maintaining a calm and respectful environment for children displaying challenging behaviour.
- Utilizing expertise with SEMH, ASD, team teach training, ADHD, and other relevant areas.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Maths and English at GCSE graded C or above.
- Team teach training is desirable.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
