**Job Title:** Challenging Behaviour Support Specialist
Salary: £84-£95 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our SEMH school, providing support for students with challenging behaviours.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a challenging environment and strong behaviour management skills. They will be able to build trusting relationships with students, providing guidance and support for their social and emotional development.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and engagement of students in lessons, implementing personalised behaviour support plans and targeted interventions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with challenging behaviours, managing and de-escalating situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Build strong relationships with students, providing guidance and support for their social and emotional development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students by adhering to school policies and procedures.
- Work closely with teachers to support the learning and engagement of students in lessons.
- Implement personalised behaviour support plans and targeted interventions to help students manage their emotions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for students.
