Role Overview
We are seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. This role will involve providing support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) in a school setting.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs in managing their behaviour and improving their academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to support the SEMH needs of students
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs in managing their behaviour and improving their academic outcomes
Requirements
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work or related field (desirable)
