We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual with experience supporting children with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) in a specialist school setting. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of team working and be able to collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Providing specialist support to students with PMLD, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Assisting with daily activities, including personal care and mobility.
  • Implementing individualized learning plans and providing tailored support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Using specialist equipment and resources to facilitate learning and promote independence.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience working with children or adults with PMLD or other complex needs.
  • A caring and patient approach, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care duties.
  • A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one.
