The successful candidate will work closely with health and social care professionals, leading audits and contributing to policy development. You will be responsible for advising and supporting prescribing clinicians, authorising specialist equipment requests, and conducting thorough equipment reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise and support to healthcare professionals.
  • Drive service development and improvement initiatives.
  • Lead audits and contribute to policy development.
  • Develop and deliver training for clinicians and partner agencies.
  • Represent the service at regional and national events.

Requirements:
  • BSc in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or equivalent Allied Health Professional Field.
  • Current and ongoing HCPC registration (or equivalent professional body)

Desirable Skills and Attributes:
  • Proven experience in NHS, local authority, or 3rd sector settings.
  • Effective management and supervision of staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of community equipment and general medical conditions.
