Job Title: Health Unit Coordinator Specialist

Care New England Health System seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Unit Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate medical records for patients in the assigned unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, assemble, and maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
  • Maintain a proper inventory of paper forms and supplies.
  • Greet visitors, screen telephone calls, and answer call buttons through the nurse's station intercom or in person.
  • Prepare medical records for patient discharge and copy records as needed for transfers or discharges to other facilities.

Requirements:

A High School diploma and at least one year of job-related experience or equivalent are required. Basic computer skills and medical terminology are also necessary.


Estimated Salary: $48,500 - $65,000 per year
