We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team at the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit. This critical role involves conducting on-site assessments and inspections of various premises to ensure compliance with applicable legislation. The successful candidate will also educate clients on the requirements for their premises and work with them to attain and maintain the required standards.
This position requires a strong background in environmental health, including knowledge of Ontario Public Health Standards and Regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. A valid Ontario Driver's Licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle during working hours are also required.
Estimated Salary: $43,430 per year
