Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our team as a specialist in children's continence care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and experience working with children and families who require continence support.

About the Role: As a Nurse Specialist, you will provide expert care and guidance to children and young people with bladder and bowel problems and their families. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to continence care. Your responsibilities will include providing assessments, advice, care, and education to children and young people, as well as supporting junior staff and contributing to the development of treatment plans and care pathways.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing specialist nursing care within the Children's Bladder and Bowel service, delivering excellent patient-centred care.
  • Providing care, support, and education within the inpatient/outpatient setting for children, parents, and staff.
  • Liaising with a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating the organization of treatments, reviews, and investigations.
