Specialist Applied Psychologist

We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Specialist Applied Psychologist to join our team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Applied Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological therapy and clinical supervision to clients with severe mental health problems.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and formulate treatment plans for clients with complex mental health needs.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more specialized areas of psychological practice.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including children and adolescents.
- Knowledge of legislation related to mental health and its implications for clinical practice.
