As Senior Clinical Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in providing professional leadership and clinical expertise to our team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day care to residents, delegating tasks to nursing and care staff as necessary.
  • Offering clinical supervision to Registered Nurses, ensuring they meet the needs of residents through sustained clinical competencies.
  • Acting as Shift Team Leader, overseeing overall supervision and development of care staff.
  • Contributing to the training of care staff and other colleagues, serving as a positive role model.
  • Participating in personal and professional development opportunities, attending mandatory training sessions as required.
  • Ensuring effective operation of Gold Care standards and support systems, driving positive outcomes for service users.
  • Assisting the Home Manager with formal supervision/appraisal of Staff Members, maintaining consistently high standards.
  • Implementing and adhering to Gold Care policies and procedures, legal requirements, and relevant codes of practice.
  • Supporting effective recruitment, performance management, and deployment of staff to deliver high-quality care and support outcomes.
  • Liaising with maintenance contractors and others involved in property, plant, and equipment maintenance.
  • Promoting the service and Gold Care through communication with stakeholders, medical professionals, and the local community.
  • Maintaining a focus on excellent customer care to enhance the lives of service users and Gold Care's reputation.
