About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Development Manager to join our team in Scotland and Northern England, covering a vast territory that includes Darlington and Stockton-on-Tees. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with experience in selling into independent retailers, builders merchants, or wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve turnover and profit targets by identifying customer requirements and developing effective sales strategies.
  • Utilize data and systems to plan calls methodically and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Buildeffective relationships with colleagues and customers to drive business growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the independent sector and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements
  • Experience in sales, preferably in the DIY/Building Products/Decorative industry.
  • Possession of excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to diary plan effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to spend nights away when visiting remote areas of the allocated territory.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £36,000, plus a 15% bonus scheme, a company car, and a range of benefits.
