InterSystems is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating product use and demonstrating capabilities to customers. You will also manage technical relationships with customers to ensure awareness of the latest product capabilities.

  • Investigate and demonstrate InterSystems products with 3rd party technologies.
  • Manage technical relationships with customers to ensure awareness of the latest product capabilities.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Help build and demonstrate Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to illustrate suitability, ease of use, performance, features, reliability, and connectivity capabilities.
  • Participate in business and technical discussions to foster adoption, use, and deployment of InterSystems technology.
  • Help install software and assist with benchmarking exercises to determine optimal deployment configurations.
  • Coach partners and prospects on adoption and use of InterSystems technologies.
  • Prepare presentations to customers and prospects at site visits, marketing events, and other venues.
  • Deliver formal training courses in InterSystems technologies.
  • Support customers and prospects during beta test programs and provide feedback to Product groups.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and interact with the Worldwide Response Centre (WRC) to support resolution.
  • Provide consulting services for the Sales Department and other InterSystems departments.

A proven aptitude in a technical environment, ability to communicate technical concepts, coding/scripting experience, and interest in IT industry issues and trends are required.
