As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to a team of Consultant Oncologists and associated clinical staff, ensuring the efficient running of front-line services. Your role will involve co-ordinating clinic management, prioritising workload, and liaising with other medical secretaries and allied services.

You will be the named point of contact when colleagues are on leave, responsible for co-ordinating referrals and new appointments, and providing sensitive and professional service to patients and colleagues. Your excellent keyboard skills and ability to work under pressure will ensure the provision of an efficient and accurate service.

To be successful in this role, you will require experience of secretarial/administrative work, word processing, and audio-typing. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience of working within the NHS/GP Practice would be highly desirable. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
