**What you will be responsible for**:

- Providing high quality typing support for consultants and their teams
- Demonstrate an ability to prioritise work within timescale.
- Deal with administration of department to assist clinical staff/managers.
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and ability to work unsupervised.

**You will learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively always complete your role to the highest standard

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You will have the following skills/experience**:

- Microsoft 365, Dscribe, Careflow, Evolve DocgenGCSE Grad C or above/equivalent in English language RSA II Typing or equivalent, Medical terminology course / medical secretary course.
- Previous Medical Secretary experience eseential including Audio Typing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Clean drivers licence, willing to travel between the three hospital sites,
- Previous NHS experience/System Knowledge
