Chief People Officer, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our executive team as Chief People Officer. This is a unique opportunity for a transformational leader to drive innovation and improvement in our People Directorate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting opportunities for transformation and innovation, while supporting staff to provide the best possible services to our patients.

We are proud to provide excellent local services to people in North Kent and South East London, and we are committed to ensuring that our workforce is reflective of the local community.

The Trust offers a comprehensive range of acute services, with a bed-base of c500, to around 400,000 people in our community. Our 3,500 exceptionally talented and motivated staff are working to build a clinically-led organisation that provides outstanding care which is skilled, trusted and kind, every time.

We have a strong focus on innovation and improvement to deliver the best care as possible to our patients. As our local populations are increasing, our services are undergoing a period of expansion and service development.

We are a founding member of Guys and St Thomas' Healthcare Alliance, which creates a unique relationship that enables us to access expertise and knowledge from a major London teaching hospital.

Key responsibilities will include:

  3. Supporting staff to provide the best possible services to our patients
