Lead Specialty Nurse

Job Summary:
Are you a skilled stroke nurse looking to take on a leadership role? Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust is seeking a Lead Specialty Nurse for Stroke to work in partnership with the Clinical Lead Therapist. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work across the whole stroke pathway, collaborating with medical, nursing, and AHP colleagues to ensure the planning of care, treatment, and safe admission and discharge of stroke patients.
Main Duties:
The Lead Specialty Nurse will work closely with the Clinical Lead to develop the stroke service within the Trust, assuming overall line management responsibility for members of the nursing team. They will be an advanced clinical practitioner, capable of analyzing and making judgments regarding complex facts or situations, overseeing and having accountability for nurse-led clinics, and advising and supporting other colleagues within primary and secondary care.
