Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Nurse Education Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Nurse Education Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of nursing education within the Trust.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and facilitation, with experience of working at a Band 6 or 7 level within Nurse Education. They will be responsible for supporting the development of nursing learners and preceptees across all Trust practice areas, and will work closely with the Nurse Education Lead to deliver on key objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and innovative registered nurse with a passion for clinical education. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and will be able to promote professional development and learning that enhances patient care.
Main Duties of the Job
- To work with AEIs, NHSE and other providers to recruit nursing learners.
- To work in partnership with Oxleas directorates and AEIs to allocate clinical placements for nursing learners and support learners in practice.
- To deliver the nursing preceptorship programmes and evaluate their outcomes.
