Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Lead Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in Whitehaven, Cumbria.

About the Role

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nursing staff to deliver excellent care standards
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the management team
  • Support the delivery of quality improvements and drive efficiency in line with CQC guidelines
  • Manage medicine management on shift, adhering to company policies and legislation
  • Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. You will also have experience of managing a team, quality and clinical governance programmes, and producing well-developed care plans and risk assessments.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of managing a team and rotas
  • Knowledge of quality and clinical governance programmes
  • Ability to produce well-developed care plans and risk assessments
  • Confidence in overseeing medicine management on shift
  • Ability to support and mentor others
