Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Staff Psychology Service. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide evidence-based psychological interventions and support to staff across the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital sites.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and formulation for teams and staff members.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke interventions and resources to support staff wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify needs and develop proactive initiatives to promote staff wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development of the Staff Psychology Service and contribute to work at team and organisational levels.
  • Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and provide highly specialist advice to other professionals.

Person Specification
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the BPS.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
