About the Role

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applied Psychologist to join our Staff Psychology Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based psychological interventions to support the wellbeing of our staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and formulation for teams and staff members.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke interventions and resources to support staff wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify needs and develop proactive initiatives to promote staff wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development of the Staff Psychology Service and contribute to organisational level interventions.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to staff.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Psychologist with a postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology. You will have a strong background in evidence-based practice and experience of working with staff in a healthcare setting. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
