The successful candidate will work closely with our Lead and Principal Psychologists to provide evidence-based psychological interventions to staff across the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital sites.
The Staff Psychology Service was established to provide a range of psychological support and interventions to staff, enabling them to manage the emotional impact of working in the NHS. The service offers a blended approach, with interventions provided both on-site and remotely as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessment and formulation, as well as a range of psychological interventions, including individual therapy, consultation, and debriefing. They will also contribute to work at team and organisational levels, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver bespoke interventions and resources.
Main Duties of the Job- To provide highly specialist psychological assessment and formulation for teams and staff members.

- To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver bespoke interventions and resources.
- To maintain an awareness of the impact of challenges at an individual or team level on the provision of safe and good quality clinical care.
- To undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and provide highly specialist advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management.
