Job Title: AAT Finance and Accounting Professional

Cameo Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AAT Finance and Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and providing support to the finance team.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial administration, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement financial models and budgets
  • Process purchase and sales invoices, and credit notes in the accounting system
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve reconciling items
  • Manage customer queries and debt collection
  • Support the management accounts team with month-end duties and processes
  • Assist with audit and other statutory duties where required
  • Provide administrative support when necessary
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of financial administration and accounting principles
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and budgeting
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Excel
  • Demonstrable ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Desire to evolve the role and take on additional responsibilities
  • Ability to use initiative and apply problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken

Working Hours:
  • Office-based 5 days per week, 38.5 hours per week, 08:30-17:00 (Monday to Thursday), 08:30-15:30 (Friday)
