About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing & Culinary Administrator to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd.

Job Description

As a key member of the purchasing team, you will be responsible for administering the supplier database, supporting the team with onboarding new suppliers, and approving supplier catalogues. You will also support compliance in relation to food standards, sustainability, allergens, labelling, and other related areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a purchasing team and be proficient in Microsoft suite of packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. A driver's license and willingness to travel around the country at times are also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Administrating the process to set up suppliers and new accounts, ensuring all relevant parties are notified in a timely manner.
  • Updating the Supplier database.
  • Point of contact for the Purchasing inbox to ensure internal and external queries are forwarded to the relevant buyer in a timely manner.
  • Supporting the team in data analysis.
  • Admin support to the Purchasing Director and the Group Culinary Director.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £25,000 per annum, along with opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
