We are seeking an Agroecology Leader to join our team at FarmED, the Centre for Farm and Food Education. Based in West Oxfordshire, this full-time role offers a competitive salary of £38,000-£44,000.

As a key member of our team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our demonstration farm, delivering educational programmes and engaging with stakeholders to promote sustainable farming practices. With a strong emphasis on regenerative agriculture and environmental management, this role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive farming experience and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educational Programme Development: Participate in the creation of new educational and outreach programmes, workshops, and events that align with FarmED's mission to promote regenerative agriculture.
  • Policy Influence: Engage with policymakers and stakeholders to advocate for regenerative farming practices and influence agricultural policy.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all farm activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of hands-on experience in mixed farming systems, with a strong emphasis on regenerative agriculture and environmental management.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, managing farm operations, and delivering successful agricultural projects.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
