The University of Cambridge is seeking a skilled Facilities and Reception Manager to join its Business Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of satisfactory infrastructure services for staff and visitors, including building maintenance, security access, cleaning, hospitality, and meeting room provision. They will also manage the Reception Desk, dealing with incoming telephone calls, courier packages, and taxi bookings. Additionally, the post holder will support the Health and Safety Co-ordinator to ensure the department meets required standards. The role will involve managing three Administrative Assistants who undertake reception duties, and any other members of staff that may be recruited to support Facilities and Reception. The appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a security check and a standard Disclosure and Barring Service check. The University actively supports equality, diversity, and inclusion and encourages applications from all sections of society.
