Reception Lead Role Overview

The Cavendish Laboratory is seeking a highly organized and professional Reception Lead to provide a welcoming and efficient reception service to students, staff, and visitors. As part of the Soft Facilities team, you will be responsible for leading the reception team to deliver exceptional customer service across the estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the reception team to deliver an efficient customer service
  • Plan and supervise reception duties
  • Champion change through continuous improvement of process
  • Operate and train others on various systems and processes
  • Provide or signpost policy, advice, and guidance to colleagues

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role in administration within a reception environment
  • Leadership qualities to motivate and inspire the reception team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with Microsoft 365 and various workplace management systems
