About the Role

As a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care and services across various care homes. Traveling throughout your region, you will work closely with the General Manager to implement action plans that cater to the needs of our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, maintaining excellent care standards and motivating your team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Conduct regular audits, supervise clinical practice, and monitor regulatory compliance to ensure the highest standards are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve goals, drawing on your skills and expertise.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience working in a nursing home setting is essential, as is evidence of continual professional development.

Key requirements include:

  • A successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
  • Experience helping residents with diverse health needs.
  • A strong knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
