**Job Role:** Youth Support and Welfare Officer

We are a leading educational institution committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Youth Support and Welfare Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the emotional and mental health of students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and equipped to succeed in their academic and personal lives.
  • Maintaining accurate student records, adhering to confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.
  • Advocating for students' rights and well-being within the school community.
  • Collaborating with the safeguarding team to create a safe and supportive environment.

**Requirements:**

  1. A degree or relevant qualification in psychology, social work, education, or a related field.
  2. A strong understanding of student welfare issues, mental health, and safeguarding policies.
  3. Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
  4. Knowledge of local support services and mental health resources.
  5. Training in mental health first aid or similar qualifications.
  6. A passion for supporting young people and promoting their overall well-being.

**Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
