Job Title: Youth Welfare Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced social worker to join our team as a youth welfare expert. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people in your care.

About the Job:
  • You will assess, plan, and implement effective safeguarding interventions for children and families.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the needs of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality social work services in line with statutory obligations and legal frameworks to protect vulnerable children.
  2. Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, ensuring the voice of the child is heard in decision-making processes.
  3. Build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to ensure their welfare and safety.
Requirements:
  1. A qualified social worker with SWE registration and ASYE completion.
  2. Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
  3. Strong communication skills, ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
