Skillful Support for Young People

We are recruiting a Youth Development Officer to support foster placements and help children thrive. In this role, you will work with foster households, building positive relationships and enhancing placement stability.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people in foster placements, working with them in the community, at school, or in leisure activities.
  • Provide guidance on challenging behaviours and trauma, helping foster carers to create a stable environment.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people, as well as a strong understanding of the needs of looked-after children.

Annual Salary: £38,000 - £48,000
