Children and Youth Apprentice Role Overview

The Diocese of London is seeking to recruit 10 individuals to support parishes in their work with children and youth from 0-18 years of age.

As a Children and Youth Apprentice, you will foster positive relationships with children and youth attendees, support existing church activities, and develop new programmes to deepen their involvement and faith.

Through this role, you will receive training and experience working with youth/children, including high-quality training from Ridley London, the London Training Centre of Ridley Hall and Cambridge.

Following a three-year contract, you will receive a Certificate in Higher Education (Level 4) in Foundations in Theology, Ministry and Mission, with a focus on youth and children's work.

The role is subject to an occupational requirement that the job-holder is a Christian under the Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.

An offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
