Job Summary

The London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Short Term Assessment, Rehabilitation and Reablement Service (STARRS). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy and nursing services to patients in need of intermediate care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized programs of care for patients with complex needs.
  • Assess and treat patients in their own homes, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of the STARRS service, identifying opportunities for partnership working and collaboration with external agencies.
  • Lead on clinical audit and research within the specialist area, ensuring the highest standards of evidence-based practice.

Requirements
  • Relevant degree with professional registration as an Occupational Therapist.
