Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies across our client portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing organic social media channels across multiple platforms
  • Developing and implementing social media and content strategies
  • Line managing and developing a marketing intern
  • Ownership of the social media management process, including content planning, calendar management, content development, copywriting, scheduling, real-time optimization, and reporting
  • Briefing in-house and third-party content creators
  • Managing social media and content-specific projects across client portfolios
  • Collaborating with the broader team to ensure the needs of the wider business are incorporated into the social media and content agenda
  • Upfront consideration, co-creation, and adaptation of content for paid social media advertising, email, and other performance marketing channels
  • Dynamic client meeting management, interaction, and communication
  • Active participation in the growth, development, and improvement of the business
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a key social media role for a brand or consumer-facing business
  • A passion for brands and marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and proactive problem solver
  • Ability to manage workload, multiple deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Pride in work and excellent attention to detail
  • Take accountability for your own actions, leverage the team's skillset, and not be afraid to ask for help
  • People management and development skills
  • Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills to disseminate key information concisely yet comprehensively
  • Current right to work and live in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship or a visa
