Role: Social Media & Content Manager

Location: Remote (with occasional office visits)

Our Clients:

We work with a diverse range of clients across various categories and brands sold in retail stores in the UK, Europe, and USA, as well as Amazon and direct-to-consumer e-commerce sites. Some of our current clients include brands from Kraft Heinz, Golden Acre Foods, Neat Clean, The Curators, Love Sum Dumplings, Planted, Savyll Beverage Co, Bang Curry, and Bush & Merser Rums.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Media & Content Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and brands, be a social media enthusiast, and have a proven track record of generating fresh and engaging content ideas aligned with brand positioning and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on day-to-day management of organic social media channels across various platforms
  • Development and implementation of social media and content strategies across client portfolios
  • Line management and development of a marketing intern
  • Ownership of the social media management process, including content planning, calendar management, content development, copywriting, scheduling, real-time optimization, and reporting
  • Briefing in-house and third-party content creators
  • Management of social media and content-specific projects across client portfolios
  • Collaboration with the broader team to ensure the needs of the wider business are incorporated into the social media and content agenda
  • Upfront consideration, co-creation, and adaptation of content for paid social media advertising, email, and other performance marketing channels
  • Dynamic client meeting management, interaction, and communication
  • Active participation in the growth, development, and improvement of the business
  • Genuine passion for continuous improvement in an ever-changing social media, content, trend, and real-time marketing landscape
  • Proven experience with social media management platforms, social media listening tools, influencer marketing, and other relevant tools

Key Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a key social media role for a brand or consumer-facing business
  • A passion for brands and marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and proactive problem solver
  • Ability to manage workload, multiple deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Pride in work and excellent attention to detail
  • Take accountability for your own actions, leverage the team's skillset, and not be afraid to ask for help
  • People management and development skills
  • Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills
  • Current right to work and live in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship or a visa
