Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Healthcare Team Member to join our team at Digitaltidewave. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting clinicians and patients by carrying out clinical support tasks, infection control tasks, restocking and stock rotation.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with minor surgery procedures, including dermatology, IUD insertion and removal, and implanon insertion and removal. You will also assist with setting up for these procedures, ensuring that everything is ready for the clinicians. Additionally, you will be responsible for teaching patients how to use home and 24-hour blood pressure machines, as well as arranging the lending of these machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clinicians and patients by carrying out clinical support tasks, infection control tasks, restocking and stock rotation.
  • Assist with venepuncture, removal of sutures and clips, ECGs, spirometry, urine testing, and blood pressure measurement and monitoring.
  • Follow up on dressings and arrange for the collection of blood samples.
  • Teach patients how to use home and 24-hour blood pressure machines.
  • Assist with annual diabetic reviews and give advice on health promotion.
  • Act on yellow flag reminders where appropriate.
  • Enter data, such as childhood immunisations and influenza vaccinations.
  • Computerise letters and notes.
  • Perform chaperone duties.
  • Conduct stock checks and reorder stock on a weekly basis.
  • Record fridge temperatures and report any temperature variations.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.
