Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Primary Care Assistant at Digitaltidewave. As a key member of our Primary Healthcare Team, you will be responsible for carrying out clinical tasks such as venepuncture, ECGs, and blood pressure measurement and monitoring, as well as providing teaching and education to patients on various healthcare topics.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Tasks: Venepuncture, ECGs, blood pressure measurement and monitoring, and follow up dressings.
  • Teaching and Education: Teaching of inhaler technique, assisting with annual diabetic reviews, and educating patients on the use of home & 24hour blood pressure machines.
  • Data Entry and Administration: Entering data e.g. childhood immunisations, influenza, computerisation of letters & notes, and stock checks and reordering stock on a weekly basis.
