As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to clinicians and patients. Your duties will include:
  • Venepuncture
  • Removal of sutures & clips
  • ECGs
  • Spirometry
  • Urine testing
  • Blood pressure measurement and monitoring
  • Follow up dressings
  • Teaching patients how to use home blood pressure machines
  • Assisting with minor surgery procedures including dermatology, IUD insertion and removal, and minor ops.

You will also be responsible for teaching inhaler technique, assisting with annual diabetic reviews, and promoting health awareness among patients. Additionally, you will perform stock checks and report temperature variations.
