Medical Support Specialist

As a Medical Support Specialist at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Acute Medicine department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care and support to our nursing staff, enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality medical treatment. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for transporting patients to various wards, ensuring that equipment is clean and functioning, and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient patient care. You will also assist with cleaning duties, including thorough cleaning of trolleys, beds, and ambulance equipment, as well as ensuring a high level of cleanliness in all areas according to Trust Guidelines for Infection Control.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and support. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for this role.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £20,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
