We are currently seeking three part-time Therapeutic Child Carers to join our team in a residential setting located in Welshpool. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people.
The salary for this role is £24,474 - £24,783 per annum (pro-rata), and we offer a competitive benefits package that includes ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
About the JobAs a Therapeutic Child Carer, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality therapeutic community residential service for young people. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for young people.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy living space.
- Participating in regular supervision sessions and appraisals to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Attending training and mandatory training to stay updated on industry best practices.
- Familiarizing yourself with and adhering to Amberleigh Care's policies and procedures.
- Providing individualized support and care to young people under your supervision.
You may also be required to participate in additional tasks such as organizing activities and events, and being part of our on-call system.
