About the Opportunity:


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Professional to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service that prioritizes prevention and wellbeing in mental health practice.



Job Overview

This role offers supervision, training, and development opportunities, with progression to AMHP qualification being a core requirement. You will work alongside a small and supportive team of experienced mental health practitioners, including AMHPs, focusing on assessments under the Social Services and Wellbeing Act 2014 and WARRN risk assessment formulations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of need under the social services and wellbeing act 2014
  • Perform robust risk assessments
  • Complete organisational practice documents and electronic recording requirements
  • Promote community inclusion
  • Work in a strengths-based, person-centered, valued approach
  • Develop skills and engage in training and development to maximise existing skills


About You

We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written skills, active listening, empathy, responsiveness, assessment and risk assessment skills, and the ability to enable and promote independence.
