Care Assistant Role

**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting trained nurses in delivering direct care for patients at Victoria War Memorial Hospital in Welshpool.
Your duties will include providing therapeutic care and support to patients, which includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 6 months of experience in an acute medical or mental health setting, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
You will work closely with a dedicated band 6 sister and unit manager, and will be responsible for ensuring that all patient care is delivered to the highest standard.
The role also involves maintaining accurate records of patient care, and communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
