About the Role

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and confidence to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and manage store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other store leaders to achieve business objectives, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all colleagues and customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
